Shield Plus 13 Round Magazine Problems
Websep 24, 2022 · sat down yesterday afternoon to load up my shield plus mags. Others have tried to load them as well and they had the same issues. Could only load the five 13 round magazines to 11 rounds. First, 3 of the 13 rd mags were defective (as confirmed by the gun shop and s&w. I was expecting my thumb tips to be sore this.
And one 10 round mag. Webnov 11, 2022 · the 13 and 15 round mags were both defective out of the box, with two rounds less (11 and 13) being the max inserted, even with the supplied hand loader. For whatever reason, the magazine takes a great amount of force to lock into place. Webi picked up shield plus 9mm (bugout bundle) last week, and right away had a few issues. I followed the directions in this video, and both mags now perform perfectly. Only a couple fit 13 rounds. There's a design flaw with the follower.
